By YouthLink | June 28th, 2012 | Category: Community Impact | No Comments »At this past weekend’s PRIDE Festival, United Way Arise Project announced $94,000 in grants to help combat youth homelessness.
We are thrilled to announce that YouthLink, along with The Bridge for Youth and GLBT Host Homes (a program of Avenues for Homeless Youth) were grant recipients in recognition for the work we do to support GLBT youth experiencing homelessness.
Check out the full press release here!
A huge thank you to everyone at the Arise Project for raising awareness about young people experiencing homelessness, and for supporting targeted services for the high percentage of those youth who identify as GLBT.
