Fall brings bright futures for local homeless youth

This fall has been a busy time for the YouthLink staff when it comes to our Employment and Education programs. Our staff and volunteers have been hard at work helping local youth study and stay on top of schoolwork, manage living on their own and find suitable jobs and internships.



Human trafficking—not just a foreign epidemic

For most folks, human trafficking is something that only takes place overseas. It’s a foreign issue that occurs only in countries in southeast Asia, Africa and Europe. But, the harsh—and sometimes eye-opening—reality is, human trafficking is happening right here in the U.S. every day. As estimated 14,500-17,500 men, women and children are trafficked into the U.S. each year (source: Minnesota Department of Public Safety).
