Party with a Purpose

Why not throw a party to benefit YouthLink? Here’s a rundown of our Party with a Purpose program.

What’s a house party?

A house party is a way to build community and spread the word about the great work YouthLink does, but most importantly, it helps raise money for our critical intervention services. These informal fundraisers are hosted by a YouthLink supporter or a friend/colleague of a supporter in their home or other location of the hosts’ choice. Parties can be as simple as a potluck or as elaborate as a fully catered, formal affair with multiple speakers. House parties typically raise from $1,000–$15,000 and are crucial to introducing YouthLink’s mission and services to new audiences.

Why throw a party for YouthLink?

You are our best marketer; donors and supporters like you understand the unique value of YouthLink’s work and have a passion for ending homelessness and ending poverty for young people in our community.

Annually, YouthLink’s interventions reach more than 3,000 young people in our community. Introducing YouthLink to your friends, family, and colleagues helps us spread the word about the impacts of youth homelessness and how YouthLink changes lives every day.

  • Fundraising makes you part of the solution.
  • Your fundraising efforts will change lives!
  • Partying with a purpose is fun!

What better way to see old friends and make new ones than to gather for a common cause?
