Volunteer
Want to know what volunteering at YouthLink is like? Hear what Ronda, one of our clothing closet volunteers, has to say:
“Volunteering at Youthlink is both rewarding and humbling. Helping a client find a cute work outfit, a coat to keep them warm or a vintage pair of jeans means that the staff can focus on meeting other needs. That alone is satisfying but there’s so much more. It’s a privilege to spend time with young people who are overcoming challenges on a daily basis. If one thing I can offer lightens the burden in even the smallest way then that’s an evening well spent. The youth offer humor, perseverance and courage when they take advantage of the services at Youthlink and I’m grateful to be a part of the process.” – Ronda
Please note that we require all volunteers interacting with youth to be 21 years of age or older.
