Health Care

We know homelessness can put an enormous amount of physical and emotional stress on your body. At YouthLink, we host an on-site medical clinic and a team of mental health professionals to help in your time of need.

Physical Health

Health care is one of the most basic of all human needs but also one of the hardest to find when you’re out on the street. Through a partnership with Healthcare for the Homeless, you have access to a host of basic health care services, including:

  • Birth control
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Immunizations
  • STD testing and treatment
  • Strep tests
  • Injury and illness check-ups

Our clinic is open Tuesdays from 3:30 – 7 p.m.

It’s professional, responsible and reliable health care. On your terms.

Mental Health

Counselors are available to meet with you for short-term assistance and/or regular on-going appointments. We can help if you:

  • Need someone to talk to
  • Consistently feel down
  • Experience or have experienced abuse
  • Face family and friend conflicts
  • Are feeling suicidal or homicidal

We’ll also help you with referrals for psychiatric appointments and information you might need about medications.

Just call 612.252.1200 between 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. for an appointment or ask for walk-in hours.

Bottom line: We’ll make sure you get the best care possible.
