Young Professionals Board
The Young Professionals Board (YPB) is a group of young leaders in the Twin Cities working to help advance YouthLink’s mission of preventing and ending youth homelessness.
Our Purpose
The Young Professional Board’s mission is to create avenues for young professionals to more deeply engage with YouthLink. The YPB advances YouthLink’s mission through volunteerism, fundraising, networking, and community engagement.
Who We Are
Young Professional Board members come from a wide variety of industries and job functions, including (but not limited to) government, real estate, health care, technology, and law. Members are typically 21 to 40 years old. Applicants should have a passion for ending youth homelessness and show a commitment to diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion. What We Do
The Young Professionals Board typically hosts two fundraising events each year. The YPB meets once per month (typically virtually). Members are expected to volunteer time outside of meetings, which may include planning events, representing YouthLink at community events, or volunteering at youth events. Members are appointed for a 2-year term with option to renew for an additional year.
