Health & Wellness

Physical Health

Healthcare is a basic human need, but also one of the hardest to find when you’re on the street. Through a partnership with Healthcare for the Homeless, you can get your basic health care needs met at YouthLink, including:

  • Birth control
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Immunizations
  • STD testing and treatment
  • Strep tests
  • Injury and illness check-ups

To find out when our clinic is open, check out our Youth Opportunity Center calendar, or call our front desk at 612-252-1200.

Mental Health

Need someone to talk to? We have staff at YouthLink who can help with short-term assistance or regular on-going appointments. We can help if you:

  • Need someone to talk to
  • Consistently feel down
  • Are experiencing or have experienced abuse
  • Face family and friend conflicts
  • Are feeling suicidal

We’ll also help you with referrals for psychiatric appointments and information you might need about medications.

To find out more about seeing a mental health professional at YouthLink, call us at 612-252-1200.

Meet Emily Villanueva Archdale Transition Coach

“It is inspiring to work for an agency that embodies their mission and principles in all aspects of its organization. Every youth is in the driver’s seat of their journey at YL and it is a privilege to be able to help them on their ride.”
