Drop-In Center
YouthLink’s Drop-In Center is located in downtown Minneapolis at 41 North 12th Street. It is one of the highest volume youth drop-in centers in the state and often the first stop for youth experiencing homelessness or housing instability. It’s here that youth are able to get their basic needs met such as a hot lunch, showers, laundry, access to a case manager, and various programming and support groups. This building also houses our administrative offices, including development, finance, technology, and human resources.
Downtown View
The Downtown View apartments are attached to YouthLink’s Drop-In Center. The building was constructed in 2018 in partnership with Project for Pride in Living. Downtown View has 46 units of supportive housing for young people ages 18-25. Onsite YouthLink staff provide aftercare and help youth build stability through, chemical and mental health care, life skills education, and more.
Nicollet Square
Nicollet Square can be found in south Minneapolis at 3710 Nicollet Avenue, located above Butter Bakery. This building was constructed by Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative in 2011 and houses 42 young people, primarily ages 16-21, many of whom aged out of foster care. Onsite YouthLink staff provide aftercare and resources to residents, including help accessing employment opportunities, chemical and mental health, and life skills education.
