Juneteenth Celebration

Join YouthLink’s Voices of Youth Advisory Council (VOYAC) for a Juneteenth event celebrating this day of freedom.
Known as America’s Second Independence Day or Emancipation Day, Juneteenth became a federal holiday in 2021 and a MN State holiday in 2023.
VOYAC will be hosting activities that celebrate Black healing arts and music, including drumming.
This event is for youth ages 16-24. YouthLink serves teens and young adults who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
