Photo Gallery: Congratulations to the Class of 2017!

On June 14th, over 40 young people participated in a graduation ceremony to celebrate the completion of their GEDs and various programs across the Twin Cities. Commander Charlie Adams of the Minneapolis Police Department was the commencement speaker with a young person also speaking at the ceremony to the graduates.

A number of scholarships were awarded during the ceremony. The Tiffany Harmon Scholarship and The Hauser Educational Fund Scholarships were presented to young people to help them with post-secondary education opportunities. The Seville Fund scholarship was awarded to a young person who identifies as LGBTQ+ to help break down barriers to their education.

Graduates are going on to 4-year and 2-year college programs, as well as nursing programs through the American Red Cross and more. We are so proud of all the graduates and we wish the best for the class of 2017!
